Ingredients list for Sweet Buns

  • 500 grams Refined flour (maida)
  • 20 grams Fresh yeast
  • 5 grams Salt
  • 22 grams Milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Free Natura
  • 40 grams Butter
  • ¾ cup + fo Tutti fruity
  • as required Milk wash

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking tray with oil.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons water to yeast and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds. Remove from heat and mix well.
  3. Combine refined flour, salt, milk powder, Sugar Free Natura and activated yeast in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead into soft dough.
  4. Add butter and tutti fruity and knead once again. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into equal portions and shape them into buns. Place buns on greased tray and sprinkle some more tutti fruity on top. Cover again with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Apply milk wash on the buns and place tray in preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, cool and serve.
