Sweet Potato Chutney A different type of chutney made with the combination of sweet potato, jaggery and tamarind pulp. This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana. By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sweet Potato , Tamarin Paste Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Sweet Potato Chutney 1 large Sweet Potato boiled and peeled 2 Tamarin Paste 1/2 inch piece Ginger 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Jaggery (gur) 2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Pound the green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt and boiled sweet potato in a mortar. Add a little water, jaggery and tamarind pulp and pound some more. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with matlo undhiyo.
