Ingredients list for Sweet Potato Chutney

  • 1 large Sweet Potato boiled and peeled
  • 2 Tamarin Paste
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Jaggery (gur)
  • 2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Pound the green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt and boiled sweet potato in a mortar. Add a little water, jaggery and tamarind pulp and pound some more.
  2. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with matlo undhiyo.
