Ingredients for Tandoori Crabs Recipe

  • Crabs 4

  • Red Chilli Paste 8 tablespoons

  • Garlic paste 3 tablespoons

  • Ginger paste 3 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 8 tablespoons

  • Eggs 3

  • Gram flour (besan) 5 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Butter for bastin

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Lightly crack the claws and back of the crab. To make the marinade mix together the chilli, garlic and ginger pastes, lemon juice, eggs, gram flour and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Apply the mixture to the crabs and leave to marinate for thirty minutes. Place the crabs in a baking tray and bake for fifteen minutes. Baste with butter and bake for five more minutes. Serve hot.
