Tangy Chicken Lemon juice and yogurt make this chicken tangy and delicious By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken, Lemon juice Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Tangy Chicken 1/2 kilogram Chicken cut into cubes 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoons Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon Ginger paste 1 teaspoon Garlic paste 3/4 cup Onion paste to taste Salt 1/2 cup Oil 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 4-5 Green chillies slit 1 cup Yogurt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Marinate the chicken with lemon juice, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, onion paste and salt. Set it aside for twenty minutes. Heat oil a non-stick pan. Add sugar and cook till changes color. Add cumin seeds and saute till it crackles. Add green chillies and saute for a minute. Add the marinated chicken and salt and continue cooking on low heat by sprinkling little water at a time to avoid burning till chicken gets almost cooked. Add yogurt and mix well.
