By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium potatoes, Cumin seeds Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tawa Aloo Jeera - SK Khazana 4 Medium potatoes boiled and peeled 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin seeds 2 tablespoons OIl 1 Large onion chopped 1 Large tomato chopped 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 4 tablespo to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice Method Heat oil on a non-stick tawa, add cumin seeds and sauté till they change colour. Add onion and sauté till lightly browned. Add tomato and cook till pulpy. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and saute till oil separates. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Mash potatoes directly into the mixture, add coriander leaves, salt and chaat masala, mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Add lemon juice and mix well.
