  • 2 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 Brown bread slices
  • 1/2 cup Tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Garlic-green chilli paste
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespo for drizzling Mayonnaise
  • a few Mixed salad leaves
  • to serve French fries

Method

  1. Mix together tomato puree, brown sugar, salt, crushed peppercorns, garlic-green chilli paste, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken breasts, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick grill pan. Place marinated chicken breasts in it and grill, turning sides, till fully cooked and evenly done on both sides. Remove from heat and cut into slices.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on 4 bread slices. Top with some mixed salad leaves and some grilled chicken slices.
  5. Drizzle some more mayonnaise on top, cover with remaining bread slices and halve.
  6. Serve immediately with French fries.
