How to make Watermelon Lollypop -

Ingredients for Watermelon Lollypop Recipe

  • Watermelon 1/2 medium

  • Orange Juice 2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Cheese slice 1

  • A few fresh parsley sprigs



Step 1

Cut the watermelon into ½ inch thick discs.

Step 2

Pour orange juice into a non-stick pan and heat till it reduces slightly.

Step 3

Remove the seeds of the watermelon. Place a small round cutter on the watermelon slices and cut small roundels.

Step 4

Add salt to the orange juice and continue to cook till it thickens. Pour into a bowl and set aside to cool.

Step 5

Soak the watermelon roundels in it and keep it in the refrigerator.

Step 6

Cut a cheese slice into ½ cm wide slices and halve each slice.

Step 7

Wrap a block of thermocole with aluminium foil and keep it on a serving plate.

Step 8

Bring the watermelon roundels out of the refrigerator and skew them on small satay sticks to look like lollypops. Then pierce them on the thermocole block.

Step 9

Place a cheese slice on each watermelon lollypop and place a small parsley sprig over them.

Step 10

Serve immediately.
