Grease a baking tray. Cream butter and caster sugar. Add egg white, a little at a time and continue to cream till all of it is used up. Add flour and mix well. Add vanilla essence and mix it in well. Transfer the batter into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe roundels of two centimetre diameter onto the greased baking tray.
