Ingredients for Achari Aloo - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and cut into cubes 4

  • Mustard oil 1 tablespoon

  • Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Onion seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Mango pickle masala 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander sprig 1 to garnish


Step 1

Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Step 2

Add fenugreek seeds, onion seeds, fennel seeds and mango pickle masala and mix well.

Step 3

Add potatoes and toss. Add salt and mix well. Add coriander leaves and toss. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
