Arrabiata Sauce

Ingredients list for Arrabiata Sauce

  • 1 cup Canned tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup Fresh tomato puree
  • 1 tablespo + for drizzling Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Celery , chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chiili flakes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 5-8 + to garnish Basil leaves fresh

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add celery and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add canned tomato puree and fresh tomato puree and mix well. Add chilli flakes, salt
    and sugar, mix well and cook for 5-10 minutes or till the sauce reduces.
  3. Tear the basil leaves and add. Mix and cook for a minute.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, drizzle some olive oil, garnish with basil leaves and use
    as required.
