By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole wheat flour (atta), Desiccated coconut Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta) ¼ cup desiccated coconut ¼ cup butter ½ cup castor sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla essence 1 tablespoon semolina A pinch of salt 2-3 tablespoons milk Method Preheat oven to 180˚ C. Take butter in a mixing bowl, add castor sugar and beat together with an electric beater till light. Add vanilla essence and beat well. Add semolina and desiccated coconut. Sift together wheat flour and salt, add milk and beat well. Mix with your hand till well combined into a dough. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape into balls and flatten them slightly between your palms. Place them on a baking tray and lightly press a fork horizontally and vertically on each cookie to create a pattern. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30. Remove from oven and cool.
