By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Baked Beans, Canape Cups Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Baked Beans In Canapes 1/2 tin Baked Beans 12 Canape Cups 1 tablespoon Oil for deep frying + 1 medium Onion chopped 1 medium Tomato finely chopped to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoon Hot and sweet sauce for garnish Grated cheese as required Coriander and mint chutney Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the canapés till lightly browned and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan. Add the onion and sauté till lightly browned. Add the tomato and sauté till tomato becomes soft. Add the salt, red chili powder and hot and sweet sauce and mix well. Add the baked beans and mix well. Cook for two to three minutes and remove from heat. Arrange the canapés on a serving plate and fill each with the cooked baked beans. Garnish with cheese and a dot with coriander chutney.
