Ingredients list for Baked Beans In Canapes

  • 1/2 tin Baked Beans
  • 12 Canape Cups
  • 1 tablespoon Oil for deep frying +
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Hot and sweet sauce
  • for garnish Grated cheese
  • as required Coriander and mint chutney

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the canapés till lightly browned and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  2. Heat one tablespoon oil in a non stick pan. Add the onion and sauté till lightly browned.
  3. Add the tomato and sauté till tomato becomes soft.
  4. Add the salt, red chili powder and hot and sweet sauce and mix well.
  5. Add the baked beans and mix well. Cook for two to three minutes and remove from heat.
  6. Arrange the canapés on a serving plate and fill each with the cooked baked beans.
  7. Garnish with cheese and a dot with coriander chutney.
  8. Serve immediately.
