Baked Bread-Cook Smart An unusual baked bread pudding This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Brown bread slices, Desi ghee Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Baked Bread-Cook Smart 4 Brown bread slices 3-4 tables for drizzling Desi ghee 1/4 cup Sugar 3 tablespoons Condensed milk 1 cup Milk 4 tablespoons Almonds blanched and sliced Method Preheat oven to 180º C. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Roughly tear 2 bread slices, place in a grinder jar and grind into fine crumbs. Add breadcrumbs to the pan and sauté for ½ minute. Add sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar dissolves completely. Place a cookie cutter over the remaining 2 bread slices and cut out 4 round discs and fit them inside 4 individual ramekin moulds. Add condensed milk to the pan and mix well. Add milk, mix well and cook, stirring continuously, till the mixture thickens. Switch off heat. Pour the bread-milk mixture into the moulds. Top each with 1 tablespoon almonds, drizzle some ghee on top and place them on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
