By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Green peas, Ready-made puff pastry sheet Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Baked Matar Ghugra 1 cup Green peas boiled and crushed coarsely 200 grams Ready-made puff pastry sheet + for greasing Oil 1 tablespoon 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Lemon juice Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies and sauté for 30 seconds. Add green peas, mix and sauté on medium heat till the mixture is dry. Add garam masala powder, salt, red chilli powder, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Transfer the mixtureonto a plate and let it cool down completely. Preheat oven to 180°C.Grease a baking tray with a little oil. Cut puff pastry sheet into thick strips and roll each strip into a tight ring(like for lachcha parantha). Flatten each ring and roll out into thin disc.Place a portion of stuffingon one side, apply water on the edges, fold other side over the stuffing and press the edges to seal.Pinch the edges to make a design. Arrange them on the greased baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
