Baked Pakore These baked potato and onion pakore are definitely healthy This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potato , Gram flour (besan) Cuisine Uttar Pradesh Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Baked Pakore 1 medium Potato peeled 4 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh mint leaves chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 large Onions sliced 2 tablespoons Rice flour 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda Juice of 1 lemon for greasing Oil Method Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut potato into thin slices. Mix onion and salt in a bowl. Add potato, carom seeds, coriander leaves, mint leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, gram flour, rice flour and baking soda and mix gently. Add 3 tbsps water and mix again. Add lemon juice and mix well. Place silicon moulds on baking tray and grease each of them with few drops of oil. Put spoonfuls of potato-onion mixture in them and place the tray in the preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot with your choice of chutney.
