Ingredients list for Basundi Pre-Mix - SK Khazana

  • 3 cups Milk powder
  • 6 tablespoons Cornflour
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Green cardamom powder
  • for garnish Saffron ,a large pinch of +
  • for garnish Pistachios chopped 3 tablespoons +
  • for garnish Almonds chopped 3 tablespoons +
  • tablespoons Chironji

Method

  1. Take milk powder, corn flour, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, saffron, pistachios, almonds and charoli in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container for upto 21 days.
  2. To make the basundi, heat a deep non-stick pan, add 1 cup of this mixture and 2 cups water and whisk well. When the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and boil whisking continuously till the mixture thickens.
  3. Transfer into serving bowls, garnish with almonds, pistachios and saffron. Serve warm or cold.
