Ingredients for Beetroot Shots Recipe

  • Medium beetroots peeled and roughly chopped 2

  • Fresh coconut scraped 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic 2 cloves

  • Green chilli 1

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Put the beetroots in a blender jar, add coconut, garlic, green chilli, lemon juice, salt and 2½ cups water and blend to a smooth puree.

Step 2

Place a muslin cloth in a strainer and strain the prepared mixture into a jar.

Step 3

Pour the strained mixture in shot glasses and serve.
