Ingredients list for Besan ka Halwa-SK Khazana

  • 3/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Almond slivers
  • 1 tablespoon Walnuts chopped
  • 7-8 Cashewnuts halved
  • 1 tablespoon Pistachio slices
  • 1 tablespoon Raisins
  • to sprinkle Pistachio powder

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add gram flour and sauté, stirring continuously, till it turns golden brown and fragrant.
  2. Add 1½ cups milk and keep stirring on low heat till lump-free. Add sugar, mix and cook, stirring continuously, for 10 minutes.
  3. Add remaining milk, almonds, walnuts, cashewnuts, pistachios and raisins, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle pistachio powder and serve hot.
