Besan ke Laddoo

Ingredients list for Besan ke Laddoo

  • 2 cups Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom seeds , crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cashewnut powder
  • 1 tablespoon Almond powder
  • 1 cup Sugar , powdered
  • for garnish Raisins

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add green cardamom kernels and gram flour, mix and cook, stirring continuously, for 10-15 minutes or till fragrant. Remove the pan from heat, transfer into a bowl and stir continuously till it cools down to room temperature.
  2. Add cardamom powder, cashew powder, almond powder and powdered sugar to the gram flour mixture and mix gently.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into laddoos.
  4. Arrange them on a serving plate, garnish each laddoo with a raisin and serve.
