French cuisine was codified in the 20th century as the modern haute cuisine. Knowledge of French cooking has contributed significantly to Western cuisines and its criteria are used widely in Western cookery school boards and culinary education. 
French regional cuisine is characterized by its extreme diversity and style. Traditionally, each region of France has its own distinctive cuisine.

Ingredients for Breakfast Cereal And Strawberry Parfait Recipe

  • Muesli 1 cup

  • Hung Curd 10

  • Strawberry crush 2 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 3 tablespoons

  • Hung curd 4 tablespoons

  • Lemon 1

  • Honey 3 tablespoons

  • Cashewnuts roasted 1 teaspoon

  • Almonds roasted 1 teaspoon

  • Pistachios roasted 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Cut strawberries into thick slices. Heat a non-stick pan and add strawberries, strawberry crush, 2 tbsps water and stew on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Add 1 tsp lemon juice and mix. Combine together hung yogurt, 2 tsps lemon juice and mix.

Step 3

Grate and add a little lemon rind. Add honey and whisk till smooth. Add milk and whisk again.

Step 4

Place the muesli in a bowl, add pistachios, almonds and cashewnuts and mix.

Step 5

Take a stemmed glass and arrange a layer of strawberries followed by layers of muesli and flavoured yogurt.

Step 6

Repeat these layers once. Garnish with a halved strawberry and serve immediately.
