Burnt Garlic Noodles

Garlic even when sauteed till well browned gives a wonderful flavour.Noodles cooked with chicken and burnt garlic. This dish is so quick to make, and very garlicky. This noodles is so simple to make, just take around 30 mins to whip up from start to finish. This is insanely good! If you love the aroma of fried garlic than this recipe is just what you need. Ingredients list for Burnt Garlic Noodles

  • 10-12 Garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil (til oil)
  • 200 grams Noodles boiled
  • 2 medium Spring onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped garlic and sauté till it turns golden. Strain and set aside.
  2. From the strained oil take one tablespoon in a non-stick wok, add most of the spring onion and sauté briefly. Add noodles, crushed black pepper, salt, soy sauce and vinegar.
  3. Add the burnt garlic, reserve some for garnish. Toss the rice well.
  4. Remove in a serving bowl and serve garnished with the remaining burnt garlic and spring onions. Serve hot.
