By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Basa fillets, Burger buns Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Cajun Fish Burger 2 Basa fillets cut into 4 inch pieces 4 Burger buns 2 tablespoons Cajun spice 2 teaspoons Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon Stock cubes crushed ½ teaspoon garlic powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 2 tablespoons Oil 4 tablespoons Mustard paste as required Iceberg lettuce leaves 1 medium Tomato cut into roundels 1 medium Onion cut into roundels and layers separated Method Grind together chilli flakes, stock cubes, Cajun spice, garlic powder and salt to a fine powder. Add flour and grind again. Transfer onto a plate. Add lemon juice and adjust salt and mix well. Add fish and coat well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place fish pieces in it and, turning sides, till evenly done and golden from both sides. Halve burger buns horizontally. Spread a tablespoon of mustard paste on the base half of each bun. Place lettuce leaves, tomato roundels and two fish pieces on each. Top with some onion rings and cover with the remaining bun halves.
