Besides this, though not loved by all, this veggie is the most essential whenever you plan to dish-up an Indo-Chinese recipe. Stuff them up with cheese, beans, other veggies or meats or just make a simple sabzi, it will surely add that exciting crisp to your creations!

Ingredients for Capsicum and Pudina Chutney Recipe

  • Green capsicum ,roughly chopped 1 1/2 cups

  • Fresh mint leaves 1 cup

  • Green chillies ,broken 2

  • Raw peanuts 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Put capsicum in a grinder jar, add mint leaves, green chillies and peanuts and grindto a coarse paste.

Step 2

Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, lemon juice, sugar, salt and 1 tablespoon water and grind once again to a smooth paste.

Step 3

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve as required.
