By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach, Grated cheese Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Spinach Wedges 2 bunches Spinach blanched and chopped ¼ cup Grated cheese 1½ cups Whole wheat flour (atta) to taste Salt to shallow fry Oil 3 tablespoons + 2 Garlic cloves chopped 2 Green chillies finely chopped ½ teaspoon Garam masala Method Mix the flour with salt and two tablespoons of oil. Add sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Divide into four portions, roll out each into thin chapattis. Heat a tawa and roast the chapattis lightly and set aside. For the filling, heat one tablespoon oil in a pan. Add garlic and sauté for a minute. Add spinach, green chillies, salt and garam masala powder. Mix well. Heat a chapati on a tawa. Spread half the spinach mixture and top it with half the cheese. Place another chapati over it. Drizzle a little oil all around and cook. Flip and drizzle a little more oil all around and cook till both the sides are evenly golden and crisp. Similarly use up the remaining chapattis and filling mixture.
