By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cherry, Bread Cuisine British Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Cherry, Fresh Prunes And Almond Bread Pudding 1/2 cup Cherry canned 2 Bread wash and wiped fresh 1/4 cup Almonds blanched and sliced 4 slices Bread 2 inch cubes 1 tablespoon Brandy 1/2 cup Cherry juice 1 Egg 3/4 cup Low fat cream 3 tablespoons Sugar 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder 10-12 Fresh cherries 2 tablespoons Cherry jam 1/4 teaspoon Almond essence Method Take bread cubes in a bowl. Pour brandy, two tablespoons of cherry juice over them and set aside. In another bowl mix egg, cream and sugar. Add canned cherries and two tablespoons of cherry juice and mix. Add prunes and mix. Add brandy-soaked bread, sliced almonds, cinnamon powder and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a Microwave glass bowl and cook on Microwave HIGH (100%) for five minutes. Allow standing time of two minutes. Turn out onto a serving dish. For sauce, wash and dry fresh cherries. Take cherry jam, remaining cherry juice, fresh cherries in a pan and cook for five minutes. Pour the sauce over the pudding and serve warm.
