Ingredients list for Chhenar Payesh

  • 1 cup Chenna crumbled
  • 5 cups Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 5-6 Almonds blanched and peeled
  • 7-8 Pistachios blanched and peeled

Method

  1. Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer till it reduces and becomes a little thick.
  3. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Slice almonds and pistachios.
  4. Add chenna to milk and mix well. Switch off the heat.
  5. Pour into individual bowls, garnish with almonds and pistachios and chill. Serve.
