Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Pan Pizza Recipe

  • Chicken sausages herbed, roughly chopped 3-4

  • Pizza base herbed, readymade

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Olive oil cooking spray as required

  • Pizza sauce For topping

  • Processed cheese grated 4 tablespoons

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 4 tablespoons

  • Capsicum mixed, diced ? cup

  • Onion diced and layers separated 1 small

  • Black olives pitted and sliced 3-4

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Dried mixed herbs 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Preheat oven to180° C.

Step 2

Dust worktop with some flour. Place the dough on it and knock back to release the excess air. Press with your fingers into a thick disc.

Step 3

Spray some olive oil cooking spray in an ovenproof pan and dust with some flour. Place the disc in it, press lightly and dork the surface with a fork.

Step 4

Spread generous amount of pizza sauce, sprinkle 2 tablespoons processed cheese and 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese. Top with sausages, mixed capsicums, onion and olives. Sprinkle some salt, mixed herbs, crushed peppercorns, remaining processed and mozzarella cheese.

Step 5

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 6

Cut into wedges and serve hot.
