Chilli Cheese Chicken Roll

Ingredients

  • 300 gram chicken mince
  • 8 cheese slices
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
  • White pepper powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil for shallow frying + for greasing
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • Butter as required
  • 4-5 lettuce leaves
  • Tomato roundels as required
  • Mustard mayonnaise for drizzling

Method

  1. In a bowl, add chicken mince, onion, green chillies, white pepper powder, salt, garam masala powder, chopped coriander, and mix well. 
  2. Grease palm of the hands with oil, take a portion of the chicken mixture and shape it into a seekh kebab. 
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, shallow fry the prepared kebabs on both sides till golden and completely cooked.
  4. Place 2 slices of cheese slices on the pan, and place a kebab in the middle. Roll the kebab in cheese and let it cook from all sides for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Slice the buns in half without cutting through. Apply butter, place a few lettuce leaves, place a few tomato roundels, and place the prepared cheese-chicken kebab in the middle. 
  6. Drizzle mustard mayonnaise on top and fold the bun in half. Serve.
