Chilli Tuna Fettuccine

Ingredients list for Chilli Tuna Fettuccine

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh red chilli finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Tuna fish (canned)
  • 250 grams Fettuccine boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Pine nuts(chilgoza)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 7-8 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Capers roughly chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • for garnishing Cheddar cheese shavings

Method

  1. Toast pine nuts in a non-stick pan till lightly browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in the same pan. Add garlic and saute. Add chilli and saute. Add capers and saute for a minute.
  3. Add tuna, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add toasted pine nuts, mix and cook for a minute. Add salt, pepper powder and mix well.
  4. Add fettuccine and ½ tablespoon chopped parsley. Mix well and switch off heat.
  5. Serve hot garnished with remaining chopped parsley.
