Corn Halwa This combination of corn kernels and khoya will result in a delicious halwa that will satiate the most discerning palate This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2022 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Corn kernels, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Corn Halwa 1 cup Corn kernels , boiled 4 tablespoons Ghee 1/4 cup + to garnish Mixed nuts , chopped 2 tablespoons Semolina (suji/rawa) 1 1/2 cups Khoyta (mawa) a pinch Saffron strands 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1/2 cup Jaggery , grated 1 cup Milk Method Put corn kernels into a blender jar and blend into a fine paste. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add nuts and sauté till lightly browned and crisp. Add semolina, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add corn paste and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously. Add khoya and mix till it melts. Add saffron strands and green cardamom powder and mix well. Add jaggery and mix till it melts. Add milk, mix and cook till the mixture thickens.
