Dahi Toast - SK Khazana An unusual toasted sandwich with yogurt based stuffing This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Feb 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Hung yogurt, White bread slices Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Toast - SK Khazana 1 1/2 cups Hung yogurt 8 White bread slices 1 Medium onion chopped 1 Medium tomato chopped 1/2 cup Corn kernels boiled 3 tablespoons Mixed coloured capsicums chopped to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 2 Green chillies chopped as required Fresh coriander leaces chopped for applyi to shallow fry Butter as required Green chutney for drizzling Cheese spread for drizzling Schezwan sauce to garnish Nylon sev Method Take hung yogurt in a bowl. Add onion, tomato, corn kernels, mixed capsicums, salt, black pepper powder, green chillies and coriander leaves and mix well. Apply butter on 4 bread slices. Apply green chutney on them and spread some yogurt mixture. Similarly apply butter and chutney on remaining 4 slices and place them over the yogurt mixture, chutney side facing downwards. Heat some butter in a non-stick pan, place the sandwiches in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden brown on both sides. Cut each sandwich into 2 triangles and place in separate serving plates. Drizzle cheese spread and schezwan chutney on top. Garnish with nylon sev and coriander leaves.
