By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 May 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Broken wheat, Milk Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dalia Porridge - SK Khazana 1 cup Broken wheat 1 cup Milk 2 tablespoons Ghee 5-6 Seedless dates soaked for 1 hour 1 tablespoon Cashewnut powder 2-3 tablespoons Honey 1 Apple medium Fresh mint sprigs for garnish Method Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add broken wheat, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add 4 cups water, mix, cover the cooker and cook under pressure till 4-5 whistles are released. Open the cooker once the pressure is reduced completely. Keep the cooker back on heat, add seedless dates, cashewnut powderand honey and blend to a coarse mixture with an electric hand blender. Add milk and mix well and cook for a minute on medium heat.
