Ingredients for Desi Lasagne Recipe

  • Wholewheat Flour rotis 3

  • Soya Granules soaked and drained 2 cups

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • stalk of celery finely chopped 2 inch

  • Green capsicum finely chopped 1 small

  • Dried mixed herbs 1 tablespoon

  • Carrot finely chopped 1 medium

  • Tomato concasse 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • White sauce 1½ cups

  • Processed cheese grated ¾ cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 160º C.

Step 2

Put soya granules in a bowl, add onion, celery, capsicum, mixed herbs, carrot, tomato concasse and salt and mix well.

Step 3

Spread a little white sauce in a baking dish, place some grated cheese over it, place 1 roti, spread some soya mixture, place some more grated cheese, spread some more white sauce, cover with anotherroti. Repeat these layers till all the rotis, soya mixture, grated cheese and white sauce are used up.

Step 4

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-22 minutes.

Step 5

Serve hot.
