By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Five spice powder, Boneless chicken breasts Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 3.30-4 hour Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Five Spice Chicken Stir-Fry 1 tablespoon Five spice powder 4 Boneless chicken breasts ¾ inch cubes 2 tablespoons Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Vinegar 1 tablespoon Honey 1/4 cup + tablespoon Sesame oil (til oil) 4-5 cloves Garlic minced to taste Salt 1 Onion ¾ inch pieces 1 Yellow capsicum ¾ inch pieces 1 Green apples ¾ inch pieces 1/4 cup Spring onions chopped 1 1/2 inch pieces Ginger Method Keep the apple pieces in water. Whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, one tablespoon sesame oil, five-spice powder, honey, ginger, garlic and salt. Marinate the chicken in above mixture for two hours. Heat the remaining oil in a wok. Add the chicken and toss for two to three minutes. Add the onion, capsicum and apple and continue to toss and cook till the chicken is cooked. Stir in spring onion and serve hot.
