French Onion Soup A flavourful french onions soup served along with crisp cheesy toast. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Onions, Clarified butter Cuisine French Course Soups Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for French Onion Soup 3 Onions sliced thinly 1 tablespoon Clarified butter 1 tablespo Butter 5 cups Brown stock to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Mustard paste 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese grated 1/4 cup Processed cheese grated 4 Bread slices cut into triangles and toasted Method Heat clarified butter and butter in a deep non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till well browned. Add brown stock, stir to mix and bring it to a boil. Add salt, pepper powder and mustard paste. Stir to mix and boil for 2-3 minutes. Add half the mozzarella and processed cheese, mix well and switch off heat. Pour soup into 4 individual soup bowls. Spread butter on toasted triangles and top with portion of both the remaining cheese.
