This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boiled Green Moong, Olives Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Green Moong Tepenade 2 cups Boiled Green Moong (soaked and boiled with salt) 1/2 cup Olives chopped 1/2 cup Black olives chopped 5 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Lemon zest grated 1 French bread (baguette) 2-3 sprigs Curly parsley 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies 1 teaspoon Lemon juice Method Heat 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil in a non stick pan. Add green and black olives along with boiled green gram and mix. Mash them lightly. Add salt and lemon zest and mix well. Cut diagonal slices of French bread. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Chop curly parsley and add to the mixture. Add crushed red chillies, lemon juice and remaining extra virgin olive oil and mix well. Arrange bread slices on a serving platter. Make quennels of the tapenade and keep over each slice. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over them and serve.
