Ingredients list for Homemade Sausage Triangles

  • 200 grams Chicken Sausages
  • Filo Pastry
  • 3 teaspoons Oil
  • 1 large Onion grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 2 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • to taste Salt
  • 5-6 Black peppercorns crushed
  • 4 sheet Filo pastry
  • 1 Egg beaten

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C. Heat oil in a small pan, add onion and garlic and sauté till translucent. Transfer into a bowl.
  2. Add mashed potatoes and sausages and mix well. Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix.
  3. Cut each pastry sheet into half. Divide the mixture equally among the pastry halves and place it on one side of the pastry. Brush eggs around the edges and fold into triangles.
  4. Place the triangles on a lightly oiled oven tray. Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for about twenty five minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot.
