Ingredients list for Homemade Snack Bars - Diwali Special

  • 15 grams Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji) toasted
  • 15 grams Pumpkin seeds toasted
  • 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds toasted
  • 30 grams Oats rolled, roasted
  • 20 grams Puffed rice (kurmura/murmura)
  • 20 grams Almonds roasted and chopped
  • for greasing Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar/jaggery
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

Method

  1. Grease a burfitray with some oil.
  2. Combine all the seeds, oats, puffed rice and almonds in a bowl and mix. Add cinnamon powder and mix well.
  3. Melt brown sugar with a few drops of water in a non-stick pan. Add honey and mix well. Add the seed mixture and mix well. Remove from heat.
  4. Spread the prepared mixture evenly on the greased tray. Set aside toset for one to two hours.
  5. Cut into bars and serve.
