By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Aug 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Hot dog rolls, Chicken sausages Cuisine American Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Hot Dog 4 Hot dog rolls 4 Chicken sausages 2 tablespoons Butter 2 medium Onions cut into roundels and separated into rings 1 medium Castor sugar (caster sugar) Tomato ketchup for spreading Mustard paste for spreading 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise to serve Potato chips Method Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick pan. Place sausages in it and cook, rotating them, on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Transfer onto a plate. Heat remaining butter in the same non-stick pan. Add onion rings and cook till they turn golden. Add castor sugar, mix and cook for 1 minute. Transfer onto the same plate. Slit hot dog rolls without cutting through. Spread some tomato ketchup on one side of the cut side of each roll and some mustard paste on the other side. Place one cooked sausage and put some caramelized onion rings in each roll. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on top.
