By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Black peppercorns , Dry red chilies Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Hot Pepper Drink 20 Black peppercorns 6 Dry red chilies 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 1/2 teaspoons Coriander seeds 4 cloves Garlic to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Tamarind pulp 1 teaspoon Coconut oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 6-8 Curry leaves 6 Small onions Method Boil five cups of water along with salt in deep pan. Crush peppercorns, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garlic and red chillies and add to the pan along with the tamarind pulp. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for fifteen to twenty minutes. Allow it to cool, and strain through a fine sieve. To temper heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves and onions and sauté for another four to five minutes. Add this to the prepared drink. Serve hot.
