By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole wheat flour (atta), Gram flour (besan) Cuisine Indian Course Breads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jain Missi Roti 3-4 tablespoons Whole wheat flour (atta) 3-4 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 4-5 tablespoons Soyabean flour 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 1 tablespoon Cabbage finely chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander finely chopped 1 teaspoons Dried pomegranate seeds (anardana) ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Cumin - Coriander powder Method Mix gram flour, soy bean flour and wheat flour in a bowl. Add chillies, cabbage, coriander, pomegranate kernels, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt. Add oil and water and knead into a soft dough. Set aside for 5 minutes. Heat a non-stick tawa. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into balls and roll out a thin disc. Place the missi roti on hot tawa, drizzle oil and shallow-fry on both the sides till done.
