By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Kalakand, Samosa pattis Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Kalakand Nest 200 grams Kalakand readymade 3-4 Samosa pattis cut into 2 inch thin strips + for garnish A pinch of saffron strands 1 tablespoon Warm milk 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped Method Preheat oven at 180° C. Line individual small tart moulds with samosa patti strips and place the prepared moulds on the baking tray. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould the nests. Take a pinch saffron strands in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon warm milk, mix and set aside for 2-3 minutes. Take kalakand in another bowl. Add infused saffron milk, pistachios and almonds and mix well. Make quenelle of kalakand mixture and place in each nest. Serve immediately garnished with few saffron strands.
