Ingredients list for Karara Dum Aloo
- 3 medium Potatoes peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
 - as required Papad roasted and crushed
 - 2 tablespoons Oil
 - 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
 - 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
 - 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
 - 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
 - 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
 - 50 grams Bhuna masala
 - 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
 - to taste Salt
 - For garnis as required Roasted peanuts
 - For garnis as required Tamarind chutney
 
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seed and when they splutter, add asafoetida and mix. Add potatoes and toss lightly. Add red chilli powder, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder and toss lightly.
 - Add bhuna masala, sugar, salt and mix. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with roasted peanuts, tamarind chutney, crushed papad and serve immediately.
