By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Raw bananas, Medium potatoes Cuisine Other cuisines Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 green raw banana boiled, peeled and mashed 1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and mashed 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon cumin powder Salt to taste ½ teaspoon chaat masala 1 teaspoon chopped green chilli 1 medium onion, chopped + for garnish ½ teaspoon red chilli (jalokia) powder 1½ tablespoons breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon oil Tomato ketchup to serve Method Add mashed green banana, potato, ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, chaat masala, chilli, onion, red chilli powder and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Mix well. Shape into medium sized round tikkis and set aside. Prepare other tikkis following same procedure. Heat refined oil in a non-stick pan, add the tikkis and shallow fry on medium heat till golden brown on both the sides. Remove and drain on an absorbent paper. Transfer prepared cutlets in a serving platter.
