By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken drumsticks, Kasundi mustard paste Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 2-2.30 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients 4-5 chicken drumsticks Salt to taste ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 lemon, cut into half ½ cup hung yogurt 2 tablespoons kasundi mustard paste 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons mustard oil ½ teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves powder 50 grams butter, cut into small cubes Melted butter for basting Green chutney to serve Salad to serve Lemon wedges to serve Method Preheat the oven at 200˚C. Make incisions in the chicken drumsticks and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle salt, add turmeric powder and squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes. In another bowl, add hung yogurt, kasundi mustard paste, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, dried fenugreek leaves powder, and mix well. Add salt and squeeze the juice of the remaining lemon, mix till well combined. Add the chicken drumsticks and coat well in the prepared mixture. Set aside 1-2 hours. Grease a baking tray with butter and place the marinated chicken drumsticks on it. Place a few cubes of butter on top of each chicken drumstick and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning and basting with butter occasionally.
