Ingredients list for Kesar Elaichi Lassi

  • 4 cups Yogurt whisked
  • a few strands Saffron
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 2/3 cup + tablespoon Warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon Rose syrup
  • 10 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • a few Ice cubes
  • 4 Pedas crushed
  • 4 tablespoons Rabdi
  • 10-12 Almonds slivered
  • 10-12 Pistachios slivered

Method

  1. Soak saffron in one tablespoon of warm milk and set aside.
  2. Combine yogurt and the remaining warm milk in a bowl and blend with a hand blender.
  3. Add green cardamom powder, rose syrup and powdered sugar and blend some more.
  4. Add saffron milk and mix. Add ice cubes and stir.
  5. Pour into individual glasses, add crushed pedas and rabdi on top. Garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios and serve chilled.
