By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Kiwi fruit, Rice Cuisine Punjabi Course Desserts Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 4-5 hour Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Kiwi Phirni 3 Kiwi fruit peeled and finely chopped 4 tablespoons Rice soaked and coarsely ground 1 litre Milk 3/4 cup Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 6-8 Almonds slivered 8-10 Pistachios slivered Method Boil milk in a deep non-stick pan for ten minutes, stirring continuously, so that no skin forms on the surface. Add rice and cook, stirring occasionally, till the rice is cooked. Add sugar and cardamom powder, mix well and cook till the sugar melts. Remove from heat, cool down to room temperature. Add kiwi and mix well. Pour into individual serving bowls, preferably kasoras (earthenware bowls). Sprinkle almond and pistachio slivers on top, chill and serve.
