By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cashewnuts, Almonds Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Lacquered Nuts ½ cup Cashewnuts ½ cup Almonds for deep-frying Oil 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon Onion powder 1 teaspoon Fresh rosemary sprigs, chopped ½ teaspoon Paprika 1 teaspoon Castor sugar (caster sugar) to taste Salt Method Heat sufficient oil in a pan. To prepare spice mix, combine garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, paprika, castor sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well. Deep-fry almonds in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle some spice mix on top. Similarly, prepare cashewnuts. Set aside to cool.
