Ingredients list for Lamb Popsicles in Cream Sauce

  • 8 Lamb Chops with handles
  • 2 cups Fresh cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard paste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons White wine
  • 5 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves powder
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Put Dijon mustard paste in a bowl, add white wine and mix well. Marinate the lamb chops in it for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a deep pan, add garlic and saute till brown. Add turmeric powder and saute.
  3. Add paprika powder, red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Add fresh cream and mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add dried fenugreek leaves and mix. Add salt and mix and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in another pan, place the lamb chops upright and pour the remaining marinade over them. Cook, turning them, till the chops are cooked and lightly coloured on all sides.
  7. Spread cream sauce in a serving bowl, place the chops over it and serve hot.
