Put fresh mint leaves and ½ cup water in a blender jar and blend. Add lemon juice, sugar syrup and ice cubes and blend again. Add drinking soda and blend again. Pour into 4 serving glasses, garnish the rim of each glass with a lemon slice and serve chilled.
